We Do Not Breed Or Sell Puppies!
During these times of Covid we are not able to take in rescues.
We will post a dog looking for a home here if one comes available.
Please note: We take no responsibility for the dogs listed here and have not screened all the animals on the site. It is the adopter's responsibility to fully investigate each dog. We will post an owner surrendered or re-home that is not coming in to foster care by us. We are always ready to help and would appreciate any donations to help offset our costs .
RESCUES:
are dogs who have been found as strays or turned into local shelters. They are usually healthy, loving dogs who would make great pets. Before being placed they are evaluated for health, temperament, spayed or nurtured, and vaccinated. Often these are dogs whose former owners didn't learn enough about the characteristics of the breed before purchasing a cute, fluffy puppy. When the dog grew into an active, intelligent, independent adult, they chose to surrender the dog instead of giving them the training and discipline necessary to make a well adjusted pet.
RE-HOMES:
are dogs needing placement in new forever homes. Often they are youngsters who did not develop into show or breeding stock, so responsible breeders will place them into good family homes after being spayed or neutered. Then there are dogs whose owners can no longer keep them but are not willing to place them in Rescue or surrender to a Shelter. There are also dogs that have lost their owner through unfortunate circumstances and have become basically homeless. Their history is known, they are UTD on shots, and are spayed or neutered. These dogs can make wonderful companions. The owner may be charging a fee for the dog.
